Sophia’s journey with needle and thread began whilst training as a nanny at Norland College where she took sewing lessons each week. What started as a practical skill soon became a creative outlet. During her career as a nanny, sewing found it’s way into her daily life- whether it was mending an outfit, stitching on countless name labels, or bringing costumes to life for imaginative play.

Beyond sewing, Sophia was often entrusted with curating gifts for the families she worked with. From birthdays to Christmas mornings and christenings, she carefully chose presents to mark these special moments. Yet she noticed a pattern- many of the gifts available felt repetitive, impersonal and lacking the sentimentality such occasions deserved.

This realisation sparked the beginning of her embroidery business. Sophia began creating hand sewn gifts, each one crafted with the intention of representing love, care and connection. Every piece is carefully personalised and made with hours of dedication, ensuring that no two pieces are ever the same. Her work celebrates the meaning behind the gift and her hope is that each piece brings joy to both the giver and the recipient, becoming something to treasure for years to come.

It all begins with an idea.
